Biographie

Peintre née à Dijon, en Bourgogne, Andrée Bohu Dupau s’installe à Paris en 1927, après son mariage avec un professeur des Beaux-Arts. Bien que mariée à un artiste enseignant, elle reste entièrement autodidacte et se consacre à la peinture tout au long de sa vie.

Elle prend part aux grands salons parisiens, notamment au Salon Annuel des Femmes Peintres, et participe à de nombreuses expositions collectives en France comme à l’étranger.

Biography

A painter born in Dijon, Burgundy, Andrée Bohu Dupau moved to Paris in 1927 after marrying a fine arts professor. Although married to a teaching artist, she remained entirely self-taught and devoted herself to painting throughout her life.

She participated in major Parisian salons, notably the Annual Salon of Women Painters, and participated in numerous group exhibitions in France and abroad.
