Guy Doco (1925–1984) était un peintre belge actif au XXᵉ siècle, reconnu pour son style fauve impulsif et sensuel.

Son œuvre se distingue par une utilisation expressive de la couleur et une sensibilité particulière aux formes, caractéristiques du fauvisme. Avec le peintre Pierre Fievet et le poète J.L. Wauthier, il est co-fondateur du Groupe "Simplicistes", groupe actif dans la région de Charleroi-Châtelet au début des années 70.

Ses œuvres continuent d'être appréciées pour leur énergie et leur sensibilité.

Guy Doco (1925–1984) was a Belgian painter active in the 20th century, renowned for his impulsive and sensual Fauvist style.

His work is distinguished by an expressive use of color and a particular sensitivity to form, characteristic of Fauvism. Along with the painter Pierre Fievet and the poet J.L. Wauthier, he co-founded the "Simplicistes" group, active in the Charleroi-Châtelet region in the early 1970s.

His works continue to be appreciated for their energy and sensitivity.

Zijn werk onderscheidt zich door een expressief kleurgebruik en een bijzondere gevoeligheid voor vorm, kenmerkend voor het fauvisme. Samen met de schilder Pierre Fievet en de dichter J.L. Wauthier was hij begin jaren 70 medeoprichter van de groep "Simplicistes", actief in de regio Charleroi-Châtelet.

Zijn werk wordt nog steeds gewaardeerd om zijn energie en gevoeligheid.
