Biographie

Philippe Mitschké (1931–2017) est un peintre français dont l’œuvre, à la croisée du symbolisme et de l’onirisme, explore les mystères de la condition humaine. Formé aux Beaux-Arts, il développe très tôt un style personnel, alliant finesse du dessin et profondeur métaphysique. Ses compositions, souvent peuplées de figures énigmatiques et de paysages intérieurs, évoquent un univers à la fois poétique et intemporel. Peintre réfléchi, attaché à la transmission de la pensée par l’image, Mitschké expose régulièrement en France et à l’étranger. Il laisse une œuvre dense, méditative et singulière, saluée pour sa cohérence et sa charge émotionnelle. Il s’éteint en 2017, après plus de soixante ans de création.

Biography

Philippe Mitschké (1931–2017) was a French painter whose work, at the crossroads of symbolism and dreamlike images, explores the mysteries of the human condition. Trained at the Beaux-Arts, he developed a personal style early on, combining finesse of drawing and metaphysical depth. His compositions, often populated with enigmatic figures and interior landscapes, evoke a universe that is both poetic and timeless. A thoughtful painter, committed to the transmission of thought through images, Mitschké exhibited regularly in France and abroad. He left behind a dense, meditative, and unique body of work, praised for its coherence and emotional charge. He died in 2017, after more than sixty years of creation.
