Biographie
Jeanne Langlois-Bellot, née en 1894 et décédée en 1986, était une peintre française connue pour ses œuvres figuratives et son exploration des formes et des couleurs. Elle a fait partie des artistes qui ont contribué à l'épanouissement de l'art en France au XXe siècle, tout en intégrant des influences diverses et des préoccupations personnelles dans ses créations.
Sa formation artistique commence à la fin de la Première Guerre mondiale, lorsqu'elle entre à l'École des Beaux-Arts de Paris. Elle se distingue rapidement par sa capacité à fusionner des éléments de la tradition picturale avec des expérimentations plus contemporaines, en particulier en matière de couleurs et de compositions. À travers son œuvre, elle cherche à exprimer des émotions et des perceptions profondes de la réalité, particulièrement à travers le portrait, le paysage, et les scènes de la vie quotidienne.

Biography
Jeanne Langlois-Bellot, born in 1894 and died in 1986, was a French painter known for her figurative works and her exploration of form and color. She was one of the artists who contributed to the flourishing of art in France in the 20th century, while integrating diverse influences and personal concerns into her creations.
Her artistic training began at the end of the First World War, when she entered the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. She quickly distinguished herself with her ability to blend elements of pictorial tradition with more contemporary experimentation, particularly in color and composition. Through her work, she sought to express emotions and profound perceptions of reality, particularly through portraiture, landscapes, and scenes of everyday life.
Langlois-Bellot explored various mediums, including oil painting, and participated in numerous exhibitions in France. Her works are characterized by a great fluidity in her handling of light and shadow, as well as a careful attention to detail, which adds a unique depth to her creations.
Although her works were well received in the artistic circles of her time, she remains more of a figure of regional art, whose importance was recognized primarily in French art circles. However, her commitment to the faithful and emotive representation of human reality helped enrich the legacy of 20th-century figurative art.
